So this is far from initial launch, but I am happy to see that external storage is finally coming to the Xbox One. There is a catch, the external device has to be USB 3.0 and the storage device must be at least 256 Gigabytes. I am not sure how many people have filled up their internal drives with the lack of games, but I’m sure it puts many people’s minds at ease.

Along with the external storage, there are some other features being added once this update rolls out.

• Auto sign in ( great for those who do not want to use Kinect).
•The option to use real names vs. gamer tags.
•Push notifications to Smart glass when friends are streaming on Twitch.

I am happy to see that Microsoft is constantly improving on their product. I think the next update will need to improve the dashboard. I wonder what direction they will go with that?
