Late Tuesday/Early Wednesday Respawn announced that the player count for it’s upcoming game Titanfall will max out at 12. You heard it….6v6. This seems very low given the fact that Battlefield allows 64 player matches. I’ve been watching the Twitters and I see some who are a little upset with this. Vince Zampella from Respawn responded in a tweet that the 6v6 player count worked the best for them. It was said that higher player counts were tested.

For those who are upset, calm down my friends. There will also be AI characters and each player can have a Titan on screen at the same time. I’m sure that there will be more than enough going on on the battlefield at any given time. A game’s fun is not determined by it’s player count. I don’t have any worries about this game. I have been hearing good things. I can’t wait to get my hands on this.

Titanfall is set to release on March 11, 2014 for Xbox One, Xbox 360, and PC
