If you can’t wait to get your hands on the Oculus Rift or Project Morpheus, and plan on ordering a pizza anytime soon, then the guys over at Google have the solution for you.

At Google I/O this year, attendees were given The Cardboard, a cardboard box that, when set up properly and paired with a Google app, worked as makeshift VR device. Should you want to make your own and didn’t attend Google I/O, don’t worry, Google was kind enough to post up how to go about making your own, and it is insanely simple; all you really need is a cardboard box (a large pizza box will suffice), lenses, magnets, velcro, and a rubber band. Some glue, scissors, a ruller, and an X-Acto Knife later, and you’ll be taking a stroll through Paris with your own personal VR device.
