Even more awesome news coming out of E3, especially if you’re a Halo fan.

During the Microsoft press conference, the speculated “Master Chief Collection” was announced. One of my personal favorite announcements of the show. Not only do you get Halos 1-4 (including multiplayer), but those who purchase the collection also get access to the Halo 5 Multiplayer Beta.

Now, we have a release date for the previously announced beta. In a blog post on Halo Waypoint, it was announced that the beta will run from December 27-January 22, which means almost an entire month of new Halo. It was also revealed that players are able to unlock exclusive Halo 5 content, by unlocking exclusive content in The Master Chief Collection and Halo: Nightfall and transferring the content over.

Below is a trailer for the Halo 5 multiplayer beta. I squealed like a school girl. Are you all excited?
