The newest entry into the much-loved, much-hated Call of Duty franchise is the first game to come from Activision studio Sledgehammer Games, and the direction they’re taking the long-running series seems to be bringing a positive light to a franchise long overdue for a makeover.
Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare will focus primarily on Private Military Contracts, with the tagline surrounding the game giving us a pretty good feel about what side these PMCs are taking: Power Changes Everything.
The most interesting thing about Advanced Warfare? Academy Award winning actor Kevin Spacey will be heading the adventure as Jonathan Irons, president of Atlas, a PMC that doesn’t really care whether or not congress is on their side. They’re going to do what they want, when they want — and no one can stop them.
Released earlier today, the new trailer details the narrative for one of the most anticipated Call of Duty games to hit shelves. Behold!
Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare drops November 4th for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC.
