The rumor train keeps moving along for Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice, with no end in sight. Spoilers ahoy!
Geekytyrant reportedly has received some big details from an extra that worked on the films set for ten days. Some interesting details are revealed, such as an ending being filmed, which reveals some interesting moves involving Batman and Lex Luthor. Again, spoilers ahead:
“According to the extra, the ending of the film has already been filmed. One of the scenes shot featured Batman breaking into Lexcorp to steal kryptonite, and apparently Lexcorp had somehow gotten ahold of General Zod’s body.”
For those that are unaware, Superman made the choice that was controversial to some to kill General Zod (via hardcore neck breaking) at the end of 2013’s Man Of Steel to prevent his attempt at genocide.
Geekytyrant goes on to mention more news from an extra, including where the film picks up. “He went on to talk about the timeframe of the movie and where it picks up, saying that it starts “as the battle between Superman and General Zod ends or is ending (which would explain all the damaged buildings and vehicles we’ve been seeing in photos) and Batman/Bruce Wayne is attempting to make his way to the Wayne tower in Metropolis.”
While little has been revealed regarding details of the movie outside of the awesome San Diego Comic-Con trailer, the reports of Bruce Wayne in a damaged Metropolis seem to make sense based on the set videos featuring Ben Affleck’s Bruce Wayne that have been floating around over the past week.
Possibly adding some credibility to the Geekytyrants reports is Badassdigest, who are also claiming to have details on the film. They reveal that they can confirm what the extra reports, and go on to add some pretty big details, including:
“I can confirm this. Lex has been gathering pieces and debris from the World Engine and he has used them to synthesize Kryptonite. Meanwhile he has also gotten ahold of Zod’s corpse, and it is the key to his master plan to defeat Superman. He uses that tissue to… well, that would be spoiling. But Superman hasn’t been defeated many times in the past. You can probably connect the dots from here.”
Now keep in mind that none of this is confirmed. But if it’s true, it looks as though Superman will have his hands full in his next outing. He’ll have some time to think about it, as Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice hits theaters March 25th, 2016.
